Yes, her poop is, ahm, more aromatic! I can live with that -- I'm just glad it's not diarrhea. She went from raw to cooked, canned, grain food in one meal. So much for a slow transition....

And this morning, she was running around a bit. She walked into the bathroom, stepped into the litterbox, squatted, pee-ed, and walked over for a pet. Made me choke-up...

Now the interesting question. Assuming she continues to improve, was this episode from
--the bladder stone causing irritation
--the bladder stone leading to an UTI
--UTIs leading to a bladder stone
--or simply a UTI and the bladder stone didn't play a part?

Isn't this the truth? I used to roll my eyes when my elderly Mom talked about a good BM. Now I congratulate my cat for having them.

I still don't know if it is the antibiotics or the 'special' food, but Isabel got up this morning, did her princess stretches, and pee-ed a good sized pee-ball! Hurrah!!!

So, despite my predictions, I did survive her UTI/bladder stone.
