I saw your post about PPP and her haircut. Did you say you got a spikey hairdo?
Just wondering since I think they can be cute . :D

I did!
I took in some pictures of Dawn's hairdo, she sent me
side views and front and back.
Of course my hairdresser complains...not the right hair texture, yadda, yadda.
I want it short on one side and long on the other.
So she cut it pretty short on one side and in the back, and we are leaving the
other side a little longer (but the school is still out on that, I'm getting some flipping
going on there later in the day  )
I use this Blast spray by Joico and spike the sides and back and top, leaving it kind of straight
around the face...a fringy, crooked bang kinda ..
And no....I do not do pictures
But let me tell you, it's been so easy to do during all this hot, muggy weather...

Purrs,
Joan

I sure bet it is easy to take care of. Mohair is almost long enough to spike now too.

8-) I have been wanting something different. My hairdresser said it takes a lot of "produce" and since I'm not big on that I haven't done anything but a short cut. The weather here doesn't lend its self to longer hair. :D
I'm like you! Don't ask me to show pictures.  Glad you are trying it.
:D

This is real easy..you just blow dry with your hands, kind
of "combing" backwards with your fingers all over while drying.
It does take product though..the Blast...but really not a whole
lot, you just spray after it's dry, then run your fingers through your hair
going upwards...that is kind of why I am keeping one side
a little on the longer side, to give it some softeness from the product.
And hey, it's only hair..in 6 weeks, it's too long to spike so you either
go for another trim, or let it go back the way you had it

Ellie!!!! Produce! I had this mental picture of you with spinach in your hair

I think you have great hair for a spiky style. It would look terrific! And Joan, we NEED a picture!!!

Ain't gonna happen
Well, maybe the next time I get it done,
I'll get Don to take a picture of the back

Give it a try Ellie, if you trim every 3 weeks, your hair must grow
fast!
I did do this one on the 4th week though, instead of waiting 6.
And you really don't have to spike it every day...you can just let it go
au naturel on days you didn't want to use "produce"

Purrs,
Joan

 It must have been the wine talking.  That's probably it will take for me to really go spiky.

I keep it short now too, I am not into using much "produce" myself. I thought she was saying she would have to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables to get the kind of hair needed for that style
