Just brought my new baby home today!!!

Hi everyone I was soo excited to find this website! I have never had a Persian baby before but my boyfriend bought me my first one today and I am so happy. I can't stop researching Persians. Well my little man is a red tabby who was born june 17th 2010. I just sent in the registration after hours of trying to find him the perfect name. His full name is One Special Festus, but we'll just call him Festus!

Well everyone here is my first story!!!! We went to Petsmart to pick up one of those scratch post that they love to overcharge you for and low and behold we met a Vet. As the vet checked out my little Festus and asked about him i replied with such pride. Then the Vet informed the Festus is a she!!! So now I have a registered boy that is really girl!!! I called the breeder and she said it is rare to have a female red tabby and she still think its a boy, but the vet showed me and I'm in agreement that my baby is a girl! So now I need a new name.....

My Dolly was a boy too, but the breeder
discovered she was a girl before she let me have her :lol:

I'm glad you enlarged that picture, she is just the cutest little thing

Thank you all and we have chosen to keep the name too, you are right no need to change. She loves all her toys, she just started last night playing before then she just wanted to lay around. She jumps on her scratching post but hasn't scratched it yet. I am also having a littlle prob. with eating. We bought the same food as the breeder but she still will not eat, so we bought some soft food to mix with it and she still will not eat. If she does not eat today I will be taking her to the doctor. Any suggestions on how to get her to eat would be great!!!!!

My Muffins would not eat right away either which meant no litter pan contents...so I kept and eye on her and after the second day no eats no poops. Finally as a last resort I got some wet food and held it on my lap and for some reason that did it and she came up and lived out on my lap. Cats are strange sometimes lol
