I'm so sorry, Tomi... I must have thought it was Cat since she reads like 900 books a week ;) I'm sticking with it and it's slowly getting better.... I'm intrigued now....

That's a slight exaggeration! It's only 895!

Sorry... what WAS I thinking!?

Seriously though Cat, if you had to pick your top five favorite books of all time, what would they be?

Ohhhhhhh...that's a tough one. Ummmmmmm

Sundays with Morey
Marley and Me
Old Yeller
Gone with the Wind

I'm sure there's one more but it's not coming, LOL

I've been a serious reader since I was in the 4th grade. I used to save my pennies, hop on my bicycle and ride to the variety store close to my house and buy books even then! I read all the Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys series, Cherry Ames (27 books), Trixie Beldan, Dana Girls, Judy Bolton. I know there are way more than this.   Not ever, as long as I can remember, have I been without a book on my person! My sister is the same.

Cat - THOSE BOOKS ARE ALL SO SAD!!

I think one of my favorites is "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close".. they just made a movie of it. Jonathan Safran Foer is a phenomenal writer. I also love Lolita by Nabokov. I know it freaks some people out, but it is poetry. I also love Wuthering Heights, of course Outlander, anything by Steinbeck really.

OMG!!! You're right! Not a one of them has a happy ending!

If I want a good laugh, I find one of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum books.
