4 or 7 weeks is way too young to be away from her mother! The weakness probably is from lack of food. What you need to do is get food in her. If she is only 4 weeks, she would be nursing still. Kitten replacement milk would be a good start. Don't use cow's milk. Raw goat's milk would work if you can get it. Give her small amounts -- a tablespoon -- about every hour until she perks up.

A trip to the vet in the morning would also be called for. Other than lack of food, there may be other problems if she's undersized for her age.

Good luck!

Linda is right -- 4 or 7 weeks weeks doesn't matter - both ages are far too young to be away from mom. Please see that your baby gets to a vet tomorrow!!!! Good luck and let us know how it goes!

This is the second questionable post in 2 days...I am sorry if I am wrong and this is legit...but....your cat does not have enough energy to walk on its hind legs? Cats don't really walk around on their hind legs. It could be our hecklers back for more fun.

Jen, I think we should give the benefit of the doubt here. I think she means the kitty's back legs are giving out. I hope no one would tease about the health of a pet. :cat:

Yeah, I hear you and if its real they should take kitte to the vet ASAP. I hope it is not real! That is terrible. I just wanted to throw it out there as a possibility since I saw something yesterday to make me think trouble could be starting up again.

Is the lady a breeder?

Isn't there some way to report breeders who don't look out for the best interests of the animals they are bringing into this world?????

This little baby is waaaaaaay too young to be away from his/her mother...even if he/she is 7 weeks....should be at least 12....she isn't getting proper nutrtion and doesn't have any energy. Did you bring the kitten to the vet?
