She thoroughly checked her mouth, and jaw and took xrays, nothing, nada, zilch :? Lani has chewed funny her whole life but never quit eating when she did it, we have always known the girls were "Unique" :?

Soft tissue problems, such as nerves, tendons and muscles(TMJ), wouldn't show up with either an x-ray or visually.

This is wonderful news and I am so glad Lani had no teeth removed or anything that would continue to hurt. Maybe she has sensitive teeth? Can cats have that? I was just remembering a friend that had a problem, and still uses special toothpaste and isn't supposed to brush too hard. The nerves react to too hot or too cold or after chewing anything that was hard like candy. I guess you could say she chews carefully. I wish Lani could tell us, but I am glad she is better.

Thank you everyone. She is home, has eaten yesterday, but still funky so I will probably give her a homeopathic to help clear the drugs out of her system. Sooo glad there was nothing more serious.

Well of course Miss Lani has to be different than every other cat on the face of the earth. After surgery she was up, eating and acting pretty normal. Today she is nauseous, has soft stools and can't stand to be near food, she just wants to curl up and be alone :(

Yes I have a call in to both of her vets
