Beat this. CHunk's daily post-meal mess. I finally got him a giant placemat with raised sides.

Okay, that beats Angel. At least he gets it on the paper towel. do you put it back in the bowl? If it lands on the placemat, I put it back in the bowl. if it's on the floor, I put the sweepings in the garbage.

Funny! yeah I saw those raised edge rubber mats at the Mega-mart and thought about picking one up.

Chunk is like the persian equivalent of the Incredible Hulk. He is getting HUGE and his coat is getting MASSIVE and his food is continuing to scatter everywhere. Yes - I put it back in the bowl. I got both of the mooses on the same food so it is precious because it is freaking expensive. Natural Balance - they love it and Chunk has hard poops. Yay. Chunk has finally learned what the word "Cookie" means, so if I say it, both mooses come bounding into the bedroom, hop on the bed and stare at me. He only gets one and PPP gets three. He is so sensitive.

Are you feeding him dry on that paper plate?
If so..I think I see the problem..he has no edges to
stop the food from going over...
I do love that cat bowl though.....cute!!

No he gets wet on a mini paper plate, he gets his dry in that bowl with a paper plate UNDER it and a paper towel under the paper plate. Sigh... I go to extremes to try and stop his eating habits, but he eats like an orangutan.

This is the way Humphrey and Bogart's dinner tray looks after a meal. Eat your hearts out.

I fed them raw chicken and organs tonight, their favourite. At dinnertime, they don't always clean out their plates. They are not big eaters. They will wait a while before going back to eat more. I feed them out of Corningware dishes, i.e. glass. The little side dish is for Humphrey's "dessert" of treats that he gets if he eats some of his dinner. Bogart didn't show up on time for dinner, so he got his treats later, when I noticed more had been eaten.

Perhaps you will notice the Periodic Table and Ghostbusters placemats. I am hoping they will absorb some chemistry with their noms. I have not noticed anything getting through so far.

lol I was going to say...they are so busy studying their chemistry that they don't have time to eat all their food!

Winston's dry kibble is in a bowl tho ends up all over the floor too. I have to sweep it up everyday and toss the floor kibble. When he eats something wet he manages to not spew it anywhere! Alaska has always been a very dainty eater. Lola the dog likes to take the dry food out of the bowl and drop it on the floor then push it with her nose back up to the bowl. I have no idea what that's about!
