Another thing I noticed whenever I come across a professional breeder is how they don't want to send out pictures or videos of the kitten, I ask for pictures and am scarred i won't get any reply at all. I'm scared to ask for pictures and videos of the cat I want to pay big money for ! How sad is that? They all seem secretive about it. Thats why I keep wanting to go back to the tabby half persian cause at least those people sent me a video.
Why do breeders do that? I know they photoshop a lot of their pics and make it all pretty, but before shipping a kitten half the country I do need to see its real face and more than 1 angled picture

UGH
I know that finding a good breeder and the right kitten for you can be frustrating but if you don’t get a good response from one, try another. Try not to let the bad experiences color your opinion about all breeders. In many cases, the hesitation that you might experience from a professional breeder is necessary both for themselves and their cats.
For instance there are people out there who will email a breeder and ask for photos, and things only to use them nefariously. Like claiming them as their own and using them to pawn off un-registerable litters to other people.
I can honestly say that for every single kitten that I have ever bought, I had to provide the breeder with basically an autobiography with photos before they gave me much information at all.
Breeders tend to be faint hearted about placing their kittens with people they don’t know or know very little about. Many just want to find the best homes for their cats or kittens, so they might even want to interview the person and get to know them first.
I would be far more comfortable buying from a cautious breeder then one that is drooling over a sale because I know the cautious breeder is more likely to care what happens to their kitten.
