I seem to be watching the same movie over and over again. I spend the first part of a 'week' acting normal and getting stuff done, and then as the 'week' progresses, nothing gets done and I worry too much (?) about Maggie.

I'm back at the 'worry about Maggie' part. Tomorrow (Wednesday) is another eye vet exam. Same thing as last time -- yes, no, or maybe on the graft being fine. I'll be very annoyed if it's another 'maybe'. Her eye seems fine except for the mucuous junk, which is one of my questions. Should she be having this much junk now? I have a feeling that if the eye wasn't partially sewn shut, the junk wouldn't accumulate. As for the clavamox, the vet called this morning and said it was to prevent an URI they thought she might be getting as she was sniffling a lot. (She was sniffling because of all the eye drops!) But it sounds like she won't be back on the evil stuff!

Just for you Maggie watchers, the appointment is at 11:30am PST tomorrow and it's 2 hours from here. If nothing major happens, I should be home with an update at 2pm or so on Wednesday.

So, now to entertain myself for another 19 hours until we leave.

Paws and fingers crossed for Maggie. I'll be looking for an update.
Big hugs to her.

GREAT NEWS!!!

Everything looks fine with Maggie's eye and graft! The vet took out the stitches in her eyelids so now she can actually open her eye all the way. This will make cleaning the eye so much easier. :)It also means I can easily see the graft -- I'm squeemish on that. :?Meds have been reduced to 1 drop of one antibiotic twice a day.

The only downer for Maggie is her beloved cone. He considered lifting the cone orders, but considering what we have been through, he decided to be extra cautious. The cone stays for another 10 days. :(

So, break out the margaritas!!! Let's party!!! This is a terrific late Christmas present, but I have no clue as to where the bow goes. :?
