Two new births to announce... late Saturday night into the wee hours of Sunday Jasper's mom Heart gave birth to five bi-colors; a cream-white girl, a red-white boy, a brown tabby-white boy, a dilute calico girl and a cream-white van boy.

And then today his sister Marbles has had three babies (and there still might be a fourth on the way)... a calico van, a dilute calico and a cream-white. Everyone is healthy and both moms are doing well.

I don't have them up on my site yet and won't put them up until they've at least opened their eyes so give it a couple of weeks... I'll let everyone know when I've got them posted!

Aweeeee!!! Congrats to you, Heart and marbles Can't wait to see them! Especially the brown tabby and white! The one on your site now (past kittens I think) melts my heart.

Thanks Karen... they're all very cute (of course!) but the brown tabby-white is really nice, as is the cream-white van. I think I know the one you're referring to on my past kittens page... that's Gizmo. He lives just down the road from my old place in Delray... gosh how I miss Florida, especially right now!

Freezing cold and snowing up here... yuck!

Nancy, your babies are so adorable! I can't wait to see the new ones. Why ever
did you leave Florida? Here on the east coast we are suffering though yet another

Thanks so much for saying that Mary... I think they're pretty cute, but then I'm a bit biased! lol

I came back to Canada to care for my mother; she's almost 85 years old and was becoming depressed in the senior residence she was living in with her friends either dying or moving out into nursing homes... I figured it was time for me to return home and make certain that she's taken care of, and I knew I would regret not doing so.

I do miss Florida though, and all my friends there... it was my home for almost 15 years.

And it's snowing here too! Yuck.

We are here for two months, and I am dreading going
back to northern New Brunswick on March 1st
I just hate the thought of having to put on boots and winter
coats again
I wish I could stay for at least 6 months....such a wonderful place!!

Joan...you could do 2 months in Florida and then come here for 2 months. Of course, you want to wait a while cuz it's brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr cold here right now.

Four months would be devine Cat..but I gotta get back to work
so I can make some more moola to get back here again next year
But then...I do have a free place to live in Tuscon..if I could "stand" living
with my daughter for two months (she is actually in New Zealand
right now on holidays)
