I was looking through my pictures earlier today and found the picture that the Humane Society posted on their website of Peabody. Boy did he look m-i-s-e-r-a-b-l-e at the shelter!

And then this picture was taken about a year after I adopted him. He looks much happier/better! If he looks strange in this pic, it's b/c he's sitting at a very awkward angle. Those legs sticking out are his REAR legs -- he was sitting up and had his front paws tucked in and buried in his fur and he was cleaning his rear legs.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Oh that second photo is hilarious!!! My cats sit like too when grooming, but when I look at your photo it's like looking as some strange fuzzy space alien!!!

Seriously, he does look so much better. Good job!!! And thanks for adopting him!

What a difference.

I just have one question about the position in the second picture.... he GROOMS himself? No way would Misha EVER do that.

Haha! Well "groom" might be an over-statement. Usually he will lick a 1 inch x 1 inch spot of fur and call it a day : )

Look at the difference. You've made Peabody very happy.
