What great pictures, Birgit! The beautiful ornate archichecture of these buildings is really something to behold! Really captures the imagination of times past. The skulls at the entrance of that one building are kind of omminous looking...but its all magnificent.

You're so lucky to see so many diverse and fascinating places, Birgit, experiencing them first hand.
I doubt I'll ever get out of North America as far as travels go.. what with my husbands aversion to flying.
