I am SO DOMESTICALLY CHALLENGED. The first week in my apartment I set the fire alarm off making a grilled cheese. My Mom can't cook... my sister can't cook... my Grandma can't cook... It's genetic. My Mom bought me these organic frozen salmon pieces from Costco. They look SO good! I read all the directions and baked a piece in the oven just with olive oil and salt & pepper. I get my plate ALL ready, it looks delicious and I hadn't screwed anything up so far. I set it down on my coffee table and went back to get something in the kitchen. MISTAKE. Puffy Puffy Princesses LOVE salmon, even more than they love lobster. So I shared... after I had Puffy paws all over my fish. She sat right next to my plate and would scream at me every time she needed more. She is such a brat She probably ate 70% of my salmon... oh well. At least it's good for her... I will be cleaning salmon out of her fur for days...
What do your kitties LOVE that you also love?

Oh,Puffy you are a naughty girl Saha and Lion-O are not particularly fond of the food their human servants eat but Thor loves spaghetti(with cheese and minced meat of course)and croissants(the smell of butter drives him crazy-about a month ago when he was neutered I had croissants in the oven and I suddenly saw him-he was so groggy he could hardly walk or open his eyes-enter the kitchen )

None of my furries eat people food which is just fine with me! My last kitty...Rowdy Kitty...loved chocolate pie and would nearly take David out to get at his pie!

Dolly likes all the meats, chicken, beef and pork..
Will not eat salmon and turns up her nose at the
best lobster in the world from the Bay of Chaleur!!
I remember when I was a kid, I had this Maine Coon type cat, and
he used to just dive in on the bodies of lobster whenever we
had a feed at home when in season.
And when we had smelts (little fishes which I don't care for), he used
to get all the heads and inards and have himself a real feast
But not Miss Dolly...no fish for her, only meat....oh, and she does love
the cream cheese filling of those cherry cheese sqaures (cream cheese, Dream Whip, icing sugar)
Purrs,
Joan

My boys turn their little noses up at my human food. Just as well because it often contains onion or garlic! On rare occasions I boil a bit of chicken for them, but only Bogart will eat it. We have this tacit agreement -- you don't eat from my dish and I don't eat from yours. It seems to work.

Well, I made the mistake of feeding the odd tid-bit from the table with Kiki Kat, but the new, guy, Rafa doesn't have this bad habit, so we are not about to ruin a good thing. He doesn't sit and beg, while we are eating - so that is a bonus. Besides I worry about what the wrong food may be doing to his sensitive persian digestive system.
