Sending my get well wishes to Lani, I deal with constipation with Monty so really feel for you Dianne. Real lousy timing with your planned trip away too.
What's worked for us is that he has had a daily dose of Lactulose and now he's getting a Coloxyl tablet which in my humble opinion is the best thing, one day a tablet, next day Lactulose & that works for him. So much better if you can avoid Lani having to have surgery.
