Linda H has written about this special persian rescue organization in Britain a couple of times ago and many of you have helped save cats who otherwise would have had no future.

This time it is my turn, I promise to double anyone's donation with my own. I will be away on the 4th of May travelling to see our friend Ian but I will manage to get the money there anyway. Also, I have asked Cheryl to maybe extend the deadline because in many countries today is a holiday and many people took a long weekend away.

If you can spare even if a very small amount, please consider joining in to save these poor beings.

Thanks for offering to match everyone's contributions. I don't know how anyone could hurt and
otherwise abuse any animals, but especially such cute persians than we all know can be so sweet and
affectionate .

Thank you so much Joe, this breaks my heart. I am even thinking of going myself and getting them, as I am in Europe it would be feasable somehow. Also I have some friends who speak greek and travel to Athens at times, we will manage to put something together.
As Greece is in such a sad shape (reasons for that put aside) so many people are no longer able to care for their animals and even children are dropped off in shelters, but from not being able to care to abuse and hurt is a big step. I can't come to terms with this at all.
