My husband got out a cat toy and Talia jumped up on the bed and started playing with it....she is acting like a kitten....maybe my worries are unfounded!!

I sure hope so. You should enjoy Talia -- not worry about her. (And if you figure out how to do that, please let me know!)

Linda, as we speak she has her front paws up on the side of the bed looking at me....I am hoping she will jump up here on her own....I do not want to force her....it sure would be warmer in the bed than in the closet..it is suppose to get 3 degrees tonight.....I would feel better if she would atleast lay at the end of the bed.

She did it...she jumped up on the bed by herself...she is layig at the end of the bed watching tv....I sure hope she decides to stay here thoughout the night.

YAHHHHH!!!!

Talia laid in our bed all night long....I am just so happy...I never thought this day would come....granted she did not move from the end of the bed all night long...but she did stay there.....now it is my hopes that she will move on up towards the top of the bed and lay with us in comfort and trust.....she has been perched on a chair looking out the window all morning long....we have come a long way from the little baby girl who was making her home up under a couch almost 4 weeks ago.

I hope she keeps making progress in the trust department, but don't get discouraged if she regresses every now and then. Isabel has several times -- usually I can figure it out (such as me yelling at the dog or moving Maggie into "her" room), but occassionally I can't. Just know that these periods may be a few hours or even days long, but they will pass and Talia will be back to trusting you.

Talia sleeps in our bed everynight and most of the day too...she has been playing with Talia and her toys....she really enjoy laying on the chair looking out the window....she still sleeps alot but you can tell she feels better....she comes to me wanting to be petted now....thanks for all the encouraging words while I was so worried.
