You guys are the best! Thank u for your thoughts & prayers for Paisley, she was the innocent lil one, I wish her life wasn't cut so short.

Thanks for all your support. Everyone of u is right. I feel so good talking & getting feedback. No matter how much he's calling or texting it is not bothering me at all. I feel happy inside for the first time in awhile. I'm content, it doesn't matter that I'm alone, I could go out if I wanted to but on this gloomy Sat, I'm going to make some dinner & watch a movie with Jasee, hee hee. I also praised my boy cause for the first time in awhile he pooped in his box, woo hoo. I won't get too excited though, I'm sure * still leave me surprises. It's a start though, lol.

Heather, its funny u posted them lyrics, my mom said she thought of me when she heard that song. I recently downloaded "No More Drama" by Mary J. Blige, that song is powerful also. It does make u feel better listening to these type of songs. For now I'm ok, I'm strong, but if it gets to be too much I will change my #, I've done that once already, I hate to go thru it again. But if it has to be done, it will.

Thanks again!

It seems to me that the only reason he got a cat is because he thought it would bring you back. My recommendation would be that he not get another cat, but that is me.

YES! to that!

You really should do this. I have had to do it and it brought much peace.

I am so sorry about little Paisley. What a terrible thing to happen to an innocent wee one. It breaks my heart.

I think this is very wise advise...

Also...do you know the Vet he took Paisley to? Can you confirm she had FIP and that is what she died from?
If the Vet can confirm she did have the desease, maybe there is a way to report the breeder he got her from.
If the Vet never met Paisley or knew about the FIP... couldn't he be charged with animal abuse.....Munchousen(sp) by proxie.

Yes I believe it was fully confirmed she had FIP, he had bloodwork done & her levels were all wacky & they withdrew fluid from her belly & it was yellow & sticky. I don't know that it really is a fault with the breeder, from what I understands most cats have the coronavirus but its when it mutates that the antibodies turn against the body. This can be brought on by suppressed immune system even stress. It's really a horrible disease. He kept sending me pics of her & it was just heartbreaking, she was tiny with a huge belly. So sad, may she rest in peace.

RIP Paisley, how sad

You did the right thing Karyn, he is just playing you and trying to suck you back in.. You calling him will not bring Paisley back, his reactions to your condolence message shows he is the same person he always was, stay strong.

My thoughts exactly.

(RIP Paisley)
