The tip I got on this forum about a cloth in the bottom of the sink, and point the cat away from you worked really really well!

So with my order of eye envy yesterday, I got a sample of eye envy shampoo. i'm guessing that is what you want. then just plop her in the sink and do the legs.

As for the towel in the bottom and face the cat away, Does not work when cat-who-was-faced-away scratches the towel-at-the-bottom-of-sink over side of sink and then twists around to climb up person holding said cat in said sink on said towel. Thankfully, hubby has no clue has to how to use my camera.
