Puffy had to go get bloodwork done today for her spay on Friday and they found a mass on her tooth. The mass will have to be biopsied on Friday when she is getting spayed and sent out to the lab to see if it is malignant. I'm in shock. I don't understand how a six month old cat can possibly have cancer. My Mom thinks the vet is overreacting, but of course I will have the test done. She has not acted sick at all and is eating normally (she eats like a pig actually)...

Has anyone ever had a mass removed from a tooth/gum area before on their cat? Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

Kira

Kira try not to worry, your vet is not over reacting, just being careful. It could be lots of things, and hopefully easily treated. I can say not to worry but I know in reality that is not so easy, but try. :flower:Hugs and prayers that all is well and it is something simple. :cat:

Kira, I'll bet that your vet is just being careful and that is a good thing. Lots of good thoughts for your cute little Puffy on Friday! :flower:

Good thoughts going for Puffy. It may be something simple, but it's good your vet is checking. Lots of prayers for Puffy.

It'll be okay! Do not worry about Puffy in a negative way. Just know in your heart that it's not anything bad, and that will be the outcome. She is in all of our prayers including Chealsi's (who by the way loves to look at Puffy's pictures) even if she cannot actually pray, we are hoping for the best...

Kira, I sincerely hope that everything comes back negative for Puffy. You and her are both in my prayers! :flower:
