My sweet, sweet Prince is in need of a home. He is gaining weight and growing his fur back, he still has mats that we are slowly getting out. Mainly in his tail. He is not fixed or declawed, but he has claw caps on the front paws. He has one cloudy eye, but he can still see. He is pure white with orange eyes. He will come with his litter box, litter and what food we have left, his night time tent, Nutrical, claw caps and glue, and whatever else is his that I forgot :). I have a week to rehome him. I will not return him to the pound, but he can't go with me. Message me if interested. Must be a very good home.

Beckie, I am so sorry that you have to do this. I hope you can find a perfect home for your boy.

I am not trying to be nosey, just help, can you say what type of disability your husband has?

Have you tried the assistance programs or legal aide in your area?

There have been some good suggestions, have you checked with the no kill rescues in your area?

If I were you I would try everything under the sun to avoid being pushed out of your place, there are alot of programs out there and even your Mom has to go through certain channels to get you out of there if you say no, I think you need to do some research and fight this, good luck.

My husband has several disabilities. He has rods in both thighs, screws in his knees, severly diabetic, bad memory loss, he has trouble walking and standing. Muscle catches on bone that grew over his the rods in his thighs, and when that happens he is in extreeme pain and can't move till it pops back off the bone. Several issues with his urinary tract, and a rare auto immune disease. I don't want to have her force us to move out, and then leave on bad terms. There aren't any no kill rescues or shelters in the area. I won't put him or my dog in a shelter, it's a death sentence. I can't get funding to help us stay here because the roof is bad and it's considered mobile even though it hasn't moved in 7 years. I will find them good homes before we are fully moved.

have you checked into low income housing, with a disability you should have preference. Get ahold of some of the agencies that help. Have you applied for SSDI and if so when. In my State if you have applied you can apply for other assistance. I don't know the terms for the programs in your area but there shuld be a HUD housing authority.
