I have two sick babies, they both have smelly, watery diarhhea and it started with a new bag of Natures Variety Instinct. Have any of you heard about any recent problems. I am so dang upset , the girls have done so well lately.

I hope the meds the vet is sending down works so I dont have to drive to Salt Lake

Oh poor babies!!!! So sorry to read this! I hope their runs will soon be over ~ I've not seen anything about this food but then again Princess Alaska is only eating Iams wet food these days ...(with probably near 100 other cans of other food sitting in her canned food drawer).

Oh dear! Good at least that you have isolated the cause. I only feed them a tiny bit of the wet Nature's Variety Instinct mixed with the raw to enhance the smell and have not had this problem. Time to switch.

Sorry to hear Sparky and Lani are sick. Poo bums are no fun, poor girls. My girls do well on a mix of Acana salmon and ToW brown bag.

I recently had an issue with the bites they make. No tummy troubles, just that they sparked when I was thawing them. I forgot to take then out of the freezer so I put them in the microwave for 5 to 10 seconds. I contacted the company and was told they weren't made for the microwave ( duh- I knew that, it was a nescessary action since I couldn' feed Boo frozen food.) They told me that it was likely the iron and minerals in the food that caused the spark. Not sure if I buy that explanation. I haven't used the food since . It is a shame because Boo loves it.

oh, no, poor girls. I hope the meds help out.. it is so hard on them,, Bluie gets frantic if anything gets on her..
