How much does Honey Bear weigh????

Judy:
Honeybear weighs 7 lbs, but I'm sure he'll gain weight now that he has been neutered and has had his teeth cleaned.

I have wondered if neutering was the factor that explained why showcats are so much smaller than my two. It seems to make a big difference.

Honey Bear is such a big handsome boy! A proud Poppa.

Once a cat is neutered or spayed, they usually put on weight, because they are no longer consumed with thoughts of breeding. Also, I find that many pet owners over estimate the weight of their cats and sometimes over feed them. Over weight cats are prone to diabetes and other problems...

I take it this is aimed at me..... Red was weighed at the Vet's office. He is not over fed!!! Red is a large cat, taller and longer than Elvis, but not plump at all!!!!!!!

Judy, your boys sound similar to mine. Dexy is smaller like Elvis and weighs 9 lbs while Van Man weighs between 12 & 13 lbs. Both are very solid boys but Van Man simply has a larger frame... it certainly doesn't make him fat. As Kira said, Red is just a big boy.

Lani and Sparky are sisters, Lani weighs in at almost 12 lbs and Sparky just under 8 I will admit Lani has more to her but she is big all over, a very stocky big boned girl.

Judy WED is not fat, he is my big beautiful boy, just a big boned boy.
