I picked him up tonight..... He (I think, neuterd) Black DMH, and so soooo thin it makes my heart sad :( . He hasn't touched the canned food while his face has hardly moved from the dry bowl in 3 hours....I hope he doesn't puke

The Cat rescue habitat has over 100 cats right now so I didn't want to bother Inez. I called the Vet and left a message.

 Cheshire is parked in front of the bathroom door.

Rhona, it is a bad years for kittys, all of our shelters are over flowing, and so many are getting dumped. It looks like you have a good helper, Cheshire, is standing guard. Thank goodness for people like you...

...and you too Pat, I'd name off everyone who has taken in a foster but, I'd probably miss someone, there are so many of us on here.

I'm waiting to see if he knows how to use a litter box, I pulled 2 ticks off him last night so he'll need worming. The hissing so far is half hearted...for principal sake and not much else.

The Vet hasn't called back yet, so I don't know if I can talk her into billing FCARL for the worming, rabies shot and Neutering, if needed. I'll pay for the FELV tests and vacine if he's negitive.

So if he knows how to use a litter box, is negitive for disease and doesn't try to beat up Ty, we will probably keep him.

That is good news, he will be safe now. As far as the tics, have him checked completely and that includes ears. We brought tics home on our clothes years ago and two ended up in Missy 's ears, which turned into a nightmare. The little buggers can get on the other pets or even you, I hate tics

Rhona,

what a wonderful thing you took him home, I am sure he will fatten up soon and gain confidence and strength in no time.

Hugs to the little one,

Birgit

He is at the Vet.. The Vet tech took a peek. It's a neutered BOY

They are going to bill FCARL for some of the tests and vaccines...

I've never been to the Vets office before, she always comes to the house, and now I know why she has a house call practice    Her house and office are on a MOUTAIN The road winds up the side..at one point I had the RX8's gas peddel to the floor, I was in first gear and only going 7mph...I was afraid to look at the rpm's. :o The drive way was only wide enough for one car. I asked Amanda "what happens when you have someone coming in and someone else going out" She said the "coming in" person has to back down the drive way  Then I asked "What do you do when it snows?" She said...park at the bottom and walk up.

When Rae and I got home Dinner was ready so we sat down to eat. In the middle of the meal Darrell says "If the rescue doesn't have a potential home for him and the tests are negitive, why don't you go ahead and have him vacinated and bring him home to stay"
  :cat: I told him I already did  :cat:

:paw: :cat: I must be insane :? We are going to have 5 CATS in our family :cat: :paw:
