Kira, all those pictures you posted look like really high maintenance styles to me. You really don't have to blow dry your hair every time you wash. Check out this thread to see different styles where you wear your hair in updos. Updos are very polished and work very well in the business world.

I totally forgot about the link that you posted! The problem with my hair is it is so fine that if I let it air dry it looks greasy. I love my long hair. In all reality I will probably never cut it.

Hey Kira, my friend Malinda has a really cute syle -- much like the 1st picture in your response...no doesn't have that much life but does look very cute and she NEVER blow drys her hair. Her hair is very very fine...and for the longest time she had no layers in it. But once she added layers -- wow! I need to see if I can find a picture of her to show you. I might have one from when we went to the CFA banquet or even my wedding...let me look.

AH HA -- found one. This is right after she got it cut too...it is a tad longer that this now. Really cute cute if you ask me.

I like your friends hair. Funny you should say that I went and got mine cut yesterday, I got told off by my hairdresser as its been months and it was a ratty mess halfway down my back. Now its back to my shoulders with layers and shaped at the front, so much better. I then went home and made it one color instead of bits of grey, grown out hair color and bleached from the sun.

I have spent the last 3 weeks spring cleaning everywhere including the sheds and garage and then doing a ton of veggie weeding and mowing so yesterday I decided to spring clean myself. It took forever as my back no longer lets me get stuff done quickly. Tammy wants her nails done after school today for prom and is trying to convince me to do mine but I am tough on my hands and they may not make it to Monday. We shall see as it would be a first for me.

Susan - I can't get my nails done. I'm too hard on them as well. They barely last a week.

Ha Ha -- just sent you a PM about this...LOL Worried you might miss it. Thank you for the complement -- my hair is so not like that now. I am trying to get it back at least close enough to pull off a slightly longer version of that. I wish I could find a picture of Lana Parrilla with the hairstyle I saw of her in that movie I watched -- not terribly long...not even shoulder length in back...but looked awesome straight down, flipped up and even could pull back with a headband if she choose to. UGH -- I have looked everywhere for it!!!!

I am getting a mani/pedi tomorrow... pedi with hot stones... sigh
