I am in NYC and I have a traditional, black and white persian to rehome not a flat faced persian. My family is suffering from allergies so we need to find him a good home. He is 5-6 months old. He does not have his shots. He is not fixed. He is pretty loving and very playful. If you are interested, PM me and I will send some pictures. There is a small rehoming fee that is required. Thanks.

Have you tried contacting the breeder and asking they will take their kitten back? This would be the best solution.

If you can't return the kitten to the breeder, then you really must get the kitten vaccinated and neutered before you allow it to go to it's new home. You still have a responsibility to ensure the kitten has a healthy happy life even if your not going to help provide it for life yourself. I hope you can do whats responsible and help find it a wonderful loving home.

Agreed!

I have to wonder why he hasn't had any vaccinations. Reputable breeders make certain their kittens are properly vaccinated before going to their new homes and it is the responsibility of the new owner to discuss a vaccination schedule with their vet. Furthermore, most breeders either spay/neuter their kittens prior to placement or place them with a spay/neuter contract. As the current owner of this kitten, it is your responsibility to have him neutered and properly vaccinated. I urge you to do right by this kitten and have this done before finding him a loving and hopefully forever home.

I sincerely wish you the best in finding this fellow a new home. :flower:

I would rethink the rehoming fee if you are serious about finding your kitty a good home, considering the new owner will have to pay for the shots and spay/neuter for the kitty.

Good luck. Like others said if this cat came from a breeder I am sure that breeder would want to know you can't keep the cat.

Alright I'm gonna do the right thing. I will get him neutered him at the ASPCA van. Thanks guys. I wish they made neutering/spaying legally mandatory.

I'm thinking the SPCA must do some low cost neutering in his area...to those in need..
I've read about this before....they set up a vechical and do spay and neutering from it.

We have SNAP (Spay, Neuter Assistance Program) in our area. They have a mobile clinic that goes to various areas of the city and offers low/no cost spay/neutering services.
