Maggie is doing a tiny bit better today -- she was out with the boys and one got too personal, so she bopped him! The girl has spunk!!!

Her eyes also look less cloudy and the ulcer is not so sharply defined, so I'm taking this as it's healing. She and Isabel are better together -- Maggie can walk within in inches of Isabel and Isabel just ignores her.

Have you tried to give her Nutrical? It is like a paste like them hairball remedies. It has alot of calories in it and is for cats that wont eat. How about other things she may like, baby food or canned pure pumpkin? Jase loves baby food sweet potatoes and pumpkin.
I think I've tried just about everything she might like including shrimp and aspargus -- one cat's favorite food. Hubby reported (while I'm working) that she was eating out of the bowl this noon while he was trying to fill the syringe. She still didn't eat enough to support herself, but it's a start. I suspect she was allowed 24/7 access to food, so she never learned to eat a big meal now because the food disappears.

I have had people say things like that to me and my response has never been quite as nice as yours was.

I was nice because the cute pharmacist was listening in and he finds me and my cats amusing. He also gives me freebies, like syringes, droppers, etc. So, my restraint was not my altruism --it was me wanting freebies.

Oh yea I forgot that part

.... I also forgot to tell you when they were treating Sparky for the ulcers they used a very powerful people antibiotic eye drop. I don't remeber the name but if what she has doesn't work I will find out what it was if you want. It cost $80 at the pharmacy
Yes, Dianne, you forgot to warn me about the price.

$80 for antibiotics isn't bad, since I paid $145 for the antivirals. And it's a teeny tiny bottle!!!

I could have gotten it cheaper somewhere else, but the pharmacy had it instock and I wanted it NOW.
And I have given her a hug for each and everyone!
